Rivals unite in underground

Could you imagine an underground station in the UK holding an exhibition of classic motorcycles?
I’d like to think this country could do as well as the Madrid authorities did in Spain when they sanctioned and encouraged a recent exhibition of Bultaco and Montesa trials bikes.
CDB reader Jose Franqueira sent some photographs of the display telling us that it was a massive hit with the Spanish public who still have a high regard for the two famous marques.
With the full range of trials bikes from both companies on display – plus the latest 4RT Montesa – there was plenty to look at.
Perhaps some enterprising managers of public buildings in the UK could arrange a similar display? But, well done to the Madrid authorities and thanks Jose for letting us know.
