In the frame

A light, stiff chassis is the way forward for competition success, Hagon Products was fairly adventurous and forward thinking in the 1970s to come up with a sheet alloy chassis for MX.

In the frame

Just unveiled, the freshly restored Hagon RM on the Hagon stand at Stafford.

After an 18 month restoration by Ace restorer Rod Spry, an ultra rare Hagon Suzuki RM125 was unveiled at the 18th Classic and Motorcycle Mechanics Show on October 15-16. The 125 single was one of only 11 built by the Hagon concern and had fallen into some disrepair.

Look out for an extensive feature on the machine in a forthcoming issue of Classic Dirt Bike.

While we were on the Hagon stand, Martin Hagon let slip that Rod has also been given the similarly framed SP370 four-stroke Suzuki that Vic Eastwood finished his top line racing career on, to restore.
