Latest news from Dave King at the Vets MXdN is that all of the big names signed up to ride will be racing on both days and thanks to sponsorship the event title is ‘The Buildbase Farleigh Castle Vets MXdN.’

It is sure to build on the successes of last years inaugural event when the organisers took a huge gamble… that it paid off is a matter of history now and the focus is on for 2010.

Thanks to us being a quarterly we’re a little behind the times with news but direct from Dave King – who phoned us up recently to rhyme off a list of ‘names’ coming along.

Dave also added Guests of Honour will be former world champions  Andre Malherbe and Georges Jobe from Belgium, Jeremy Whatley multi British champion and former stunt king Eddie Kidd. Friday night’s entertainment will be popular 70s group, The Wurzels while on Saturday evening the massive circus tent will have ‘Madness’ to delight those staying over.

The team competition will feature riders from England, Belgium, France, Holland, Spain, Austria, Germany, Scotland, South Africa. The licensed Butcombe Beer sponsored bar will open midday Thursday 16 September, spectator entries are just £10 per day
