There are 208 pages with some terrific images and it will set you back about £25. Published by Haynes.

SUZUKI AT THE TT – 1960 TO 1967
As 2010 will celebrate Suzuki’s debut at the Isle of Man TT, Raymond Ainscoe and Elwyn Roberts have compiled this great little softback which logs the company’s progress up to them pulling the works teams out of the races for good in 1967.
The company’s two strokes were some of the fastest machines ever seen at the time and with a propensity to immediate seizures, riders such as Frank Perris, Stuart Graham, Hugh Anderson, Hans Georg Anscheidt, Ernst Degner and others were constantly aware of a potential high speed trip down the road and rode with a wary finger on the clutch.
It’s more or less A4 sized with 62 well illustrated pages, many of which are archive examples that have rarely been seen before, if ever.
Published by Ilkley Books. It’s a limited edition run of just 500, so if you want one, get in quick. Price is about £12.

TEAM SUZUKI
Staying with a Suzuki theme – this particular book was first published in 1982 and apart from the correction of a few known typographical errors, this is merely a reprint. That’s not to decry the book though as it really is a deep analysis of the company’s race effort from it’s early years as Colleda through to the 1981 world championship season.
Author Ray Battersby has logged some 50 machines in detail, from the multi-speed 50cc jobs through to the liquid-cooled 750 triples and Square Four 500s.
It’s hardbacked, a little smaller than A4 and contains 240 pages with at least as many mono images.
Published by Parker House. Price is about £30.

THE SAMMY MILLER MUSEUM COLLECTION
Another which speaks for itself. A softback picture book, compiled by Roy Poynting, esteemed contributor to The Classic MotorCycle, and listing the competition and sporting motorcycles in Sammy’s Museum.
Each machine is photographed in a studio setting with a brief description of its history etc. Race bikes, trials bikes – of course – ranging from early century jobs through to 70s superbikes, with a foreword from Murray Walker. First class fireside browsing and an appetite whetting advert for a visit.
It’s published by RedLine Books and will set you back about £19.95.
